what materials can you spin in?

Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper and Stainless.

What thickness of material do you use?

The material thickness is dependent on the shape & size of the job. In some cases, it depends on what material is being spun.

What is the largest diameter you can spin?

Our largest diameter to spin on our lathes is 850 mm or 33 1/2 inches; this also depends on the depth of the job.

Do you offer bespoke or custom-made products?

Yes, this is something we can offer. Our aim is to take your initial idea or design and turn it into a handmade bespoke and unique product.

What is tooling and what is it used for?

Tooling is an essential part of the metal spinning process. It is a unique mould that we use to form metal discs onto, allowing us to achieve various shapes and sizes in our work. A hardened spinning chuck can produce as little or as many quantities as you require.
